The River Ride

Just had another eye opening moment that I had to share with my friends. Agree or disagree we are all on a journey? We are all moving in a similar direction, but we all have our own path that we have chosen to take.

This journey takes a life time to complete, so along the way we take side trips and go on great adventures that bring us great joy in our lives. These side trips may be building a relationship with a friend, finding that financial stream of wealth we need for time freedom, or just enjoying the gifts that God has given us.

Still with me so far? Great!

So to help us achieve these goals and take the side trips we dream of having, what is it that we need to do to assist in achieving these goals? We envision these side trips and see ourselves living the life we are moving toward. We stay on the same vibrational path that is positive in nature…correct? O.K this is the big AHHH moment for me!

Let me explain it like this. We all get together for a fantastic ride down the Colorado River, full of fun and great excitement. As we all get in our boats and prepare for this adventure one of the five groups halls their boat out of the water and tell us they will meet us at the bottom of the river.

We have become so accustomed to instant gratification in life today that this firth group could not take the ride and wait the two hours to arrive at the bottom, they had to get back in their truck and drive as fast as they could to arrive at their destination. INSTANT GRADIFICATION!

What they failed to see is the experience of going down the river and living in the “now” is part of the experience! Do you get it? The side trip that I am taking for instance is already manifested and completed within me, it’s done…what I failed to see is the “now “ moments that accompany it along the way.

Bob Proctor said it best. “For as long as you hold the image in your mind of the good you desire, you will always be rewarded. Just have faith that what should happen…must happen, and in the right time, it will happen! Always remember that the image which you keep affirming in your heart, or subconscious mind, is being impressed upon spirit; and spirit has the ability to convert your present dreams into your future reality”.

I have achieved my aspired goals, I just have to stay focused, keep my faith and it shall arrive.
